Our Story

Whistle & Grey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create beautiful, durable, and safe dinnerware for children. As a mother of two, our founder, Anna, experienced firsthand the frustration of searching for alternatives to mass produced plastic based tableware.

How many times has dinner been met with a wrinkled nose or a “this tastes funny” because last night's dinner has infused itself into the plate? Or the subtle taste of washing detergent still lingering.

These concerns about plastic leaching flavours and chemicals, especially when it comes to children's food, were a major driving force to find a solution. The search for truly safe alternatives proved challenging too as many options contained questionable paints and coatings.

Our founder was determined to create a line of safe, sustainable dinnerware that parents could trust ensuring only the highest quality materials were used conforming to current food safety standards.

Driven by a passion for both design and healthy living, Anna envisioned a line of artisan enamelware that would be both practical and stylish. At Whistle & Grey, we know that mealtimes can be challenging, being able to trust that your families dinnerware is safe and free from harmful chemicals takes one worry off your plate- pardon the pun!
